The Repeat Offender...

In response to a reader's comment, I decided that I should explain who the repeat offender is... since she is new to our group. The RO (as she will be called from here on out) is one of my favorite people, true that we didn't always get along from the beginning. I can remember more than one occasion in which we fought, probably over toys or the fact that she would breathe on me (or really loud) during the night when we were forced to share a room. But most of the memories are fond ones. My favorite being "It's hot, boooooiling hot!" Or the way that she would pout when she would cry - let's face it the RO is one of my favorite people and sisters...if you ever need to you can check her out over at myspace.com, she likes it over there...But welcome to our little group of vigilant bloggers and the good time yet to come...

Ahh, hard at work...

Well, I just thought that I would let my blogging buddies know that I have offically been put on the December work calendar as a massage therapist. I know that this may come as a shock, but I am finally making it as something in this world (moment of silence and a single tear). So far it is only like 6 or 7 shifts, in the middle of winter (our slow time), but I will fill the rest of my days doing the receptionist stuff. I finally found out that the national board people got my application for licensure, so that will soon be mine!!! So I will be keeping busy over the next few weeks. Unfortunately, the "no work on sunday" thing is being pushed back to January, but at least I got off all of the time that I wanted for Christmas. I can't wait to go home, I can't believe that it has been a year since I have been to Cali, it doesn't really seem like it has been that long. I am hoping that I am going to be able to make it to Repeat Offenders graduation, but we will have to see how the weather holds out since I have to be to work the next day. (suck!) Stir Crazy!!!

Well, it has officially been one of the longest days of my life. I only hope that I can make it throught the last hour. Both meals at work have sucked today, a new record, oh but he tries to give us good food. I hope that I can make it to some place (and by some place I mean home) with real food before I starve to death, I am wasting away to practiacally nothing, no really. The Blue powerade is good though - in my quest to give up mountain dew - it has become my new fix, along with reese's pieces... who knew that they were so good...
Well, it's official - I am heading home for Christmas on Dec 21 and returning but a week later on the 28th. The first time to be setting for in Cali since last Christmas... I can't believe that a whole year has gone by, oh how the time flies when you are having fun or killing yourself tyring to make it through school, am I right? or am I right? Now I just want to gest certified and move on!!! Don't worry politicchic, I'm not going anywhere, it's just a expression... it's okay... our perfect roommatedom will last forever!!! and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever and ever...

Why Free Food Can Suck

Well, as I sit here and eat another "free" meal at work, I realize that I don't like the food that I am eating. It's this gross, mushy Chinese Food stuff and if you know me at all - you know I don't do oriental in any way shape or form (take that as you will...). And yet, I continue to eat because I don't get off work for three more hours and I'm starving. So I guess that it is back to cleaning shelves and yahoo games...work is an exciting place - at least I've got a little David Gray to listen to and I finished inventory, finally, after two days - yuck. Tomorrow is my day off and I don't plan on doing a whole lot of anything except cleaning, sleeping, eating... ah, the finer things in life.
